Protecting Privacy and Securing the Nation in the 21st...

The idea of privacy protection for private citizens is rooted in history back to the Magna Carta. With the passage of time and the evolution of communication the laws of the United States have attempted to ensure a balance between security of the nation and protecting privacy. This Act closed the loop to privacy intrusions by including â€Å"government, individuals, and private firms† from eavesdropping on electronic communications (Burstein 186). This act has been amended to keep up with technology, adding in protections for new technology as it is invented. However, thisShow MoreRelatedThe Purpose Of A National Cybersecurity Strategy1421 Words   |  6 Pagesnational consideration.
